You need income protection if you are self employed or if your employer does not offer you a long term sickness scheme – most employers DON’T!

Your Income Protection Policy will protect your lifestyle by paying you a monthly income if you’re unable to work due to any illness, accident or injury. It will continue to pay you until you are able to return to work or you reach retirement age (up to age 65), whichever is the sooner.

Your protection policy will protect your income of up to a maximum of 75% of your normal income (including any amounts being received from social welfare).

Your premiums will qualify for tax relief at your marginal rate making your cover even better value.
